The shorter building to the north is the Criminal Court Building; the taller one to the south is the Administration Building, which houses offices of the State's Attorney, Public Defender, the Clerk, Adult Probation, Social Service, and other agencies. And there is fabulous Mexican food a couple blocks north on California Avenue, and a few blocks west on 26th Street.
