Seven Treasures has great noodles. My favorite is noodles & soup with barbecue pork and extra chinese broccoli. It's about USD $6.50.

This is not an eyesore, it is barely noticeable unless something is going on there, and there often is. There is a small farmers market in the summertime every saturday for example.

So much less crowded than Trader Joe's and no parking validation required! I love Sunflower.

  • The Heartland Cafe, Eric (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
The heartland is awesome with great live music and food. They have more than ample vegetarian options for a restaurant of their kind.
  • Cermak Fresh Market, Eric (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
Agree with swomprat. The produce is lousy and selection bad too.
  • Buena and Clarendon building, BarofSoap (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
Never a shortage of dirty, smelly hippies trying to sell their "art" outside.. Where do they come from? I don't know! Imagine crossing Starbucks with that old orange couch in your basement.. That about sums this place up.
  • Treasure Island Supermarket, Shopper (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
Much better cheese and meat selection than the Jewel slightly north on Broadway.
  • The Heartland Cafe, JT (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
Don't be confused by above, this place is not a vegetarian cafe. There is plenty of meat on the menu -- as much as or even more than straight vegetarian meals.
  • Tapas Las Ramblas, Ace (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
It failed as Atlantique restaurant before, and then the owner switched the theme to Tapas. Correct, closed..failed. Who's the real dip shit? It will now be Twist, another tapas joint.
  • Cermak Fresh Market, swomprat (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
This is a sucky Dominick's. It's overpriced and understaffed.
  • School of Music, Gaisha Vale (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
Depaul Children's Choir used to practice here. Worst neigborhood choir in the Chicago Children's Choir family. Well it used to be,
