This is DePaul's most beautiful building; it looks like a European church. Which made for some major irony, when a presentation on contraceptives was held there.

It's very sterile-looking, compared to the old Stuart Center cafeteria it replaced. The food was acceptable, but the food court arrangement, as opposed to "get everything, then pay once" was annoying.

This is also the former location of the Russian Transitional School. It served the immigrant population that lived in West Rogers Park during the early 1990's. The synagogue is still alive and well, but the school no longer operates.

this park has a long history of producing exceptional athletes from middle-class QUALITY families. Great baseball program back in the 70s. Traveling All Star teams competed at Hickory Hills during 4th of July and frequently won every age group. Also incredible wrestling program started in '71 by old man Guide. His teams won Area 4 city tournament for years and his program fed local high schools the best of the best. over the years he had countless assistants that helped him keep the program successful. today, they wrestle under the Vittum Cat flag but practice out of Shepard H.S. (im told).
